8×8 Race – Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026. Developer: Jakub Brezovsky (8x8Race).

What the watch app records

During a race the app stores segment times, laps, heart rate, cadence, calories and distance on your watch. The activity is saved to your Garmin account like any other activity, under Garmin's own privacy policy.

What is sent when you tap Share

Your race results (segment times, targets, category, date and the per-segment heart rate, cadence, calories and distance) are put into the link that opens on your phone. The page at 8x8race.com reads them in your browser and draws the report. We do not store, sell or share this data and we have no user accounts. The page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare may keep technical request logs.

What we never collect

• No name, e-mail, location or Garmin account data.
• No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

Your choice

You only share a report when you tap Share. Anyone you send the link to can see that one race. You can delete races from the history on the watch at any time.
